Das britische Unternehmen „Bodog Brand“ hat in einer Pressemitteilung die Verpflichtung von Amanda Leatherman als neuestes Mitglied im Poker Pro Team bekanntgegeben.
Die 27-jährige Amerikanerin ist nach Tatjana Pasalic und Evelyn Ng bereits die dritte Frau im Hause Bodog. In der Pokerszene kennt man sie unter anderem als frühere Hostess bei Pokernews und der World Poker Tour. Aktuell moderiert sie außerdem das „Big Game“ von PokerStars, an dem auch ihr Ex-Freund Daniel Negreanu teilnimmt.
„I am excited to announce today that I have been joined Bodog as its newest Team Bodog member!! Sooooo excited!!! 🙂 🙂 Traveling around the world representing the Bodog lifestyle with Evelyn and Tatjana is going to be so freakin‘ awesome!“ ließ sie die Welt bei Twitter wissen.
In der offiziellen Pressemitteilung heißt es weiter: „The Bodog life and my own are scarily similar. I can’t wait to do the Bodog photo shoot. I’ll be posting those shots on my facebook as soon as I have them but in the meantime I’ll see you all at the tables, both live and online.“
Als Moderatorin konnte die in Los Angeles lebende Leatherman bereits überzeugen, an den Pokertischen muss sie ihr Talent aber noch unter Beweis stellen. Lediglich einen Livecash hat sie bis jetzt vorzuweisen. Bei der WSOP 2008 erreichte Leatherman im $1.000 Ladies Event den 45. Platz für $3.682.
