Durch einen Softwarefehler bei der Onlineplattform „888 Poker“ hat der deutsche User „das_Goe“ während eines Onlineturniers 100.000 Chips zu viel bekommen. Laut 888 wird dieser Fehler kein zweites Mal vorkommen.
Letzte Woche machte uns der Hochgepokert-Leser 888??? auf folgendes YouTube Video aufmerksam:
Daraufhin haben wir uns mit 888 in Kontakt gesetzt und nun folgendes Statement erhalten:
We have thoroughly reviewed the circumstances of this case reported, and would like to state publicly to this forum the results. The Youtube video is correct, and the issue was reported whereby an account received 100,000 additional chips. This occurred in a freeroll multi table tournament, during the break.
The reason for this occurrence is due to a rare combination of events, specifically connected to the algorithm that allocates seats and redistributes the remaining tournament members amongst the tables after the break. The issue was reported to us by the member, and we are in continuing correspondence regarding the details pertaining to this account directly. The technical issue was found, a fix was developed, and has been released to all our gaming versions, so such an incident could not re-occur.
