Der PokerStars.com Sunday-Grind war wieder einmal ein voller Erfolg für die deutschsprachigen Spieler. Der Schweizer ‚BAGBAGBAGBAG‘ gewann das $215 Sunday Warm-Up für $91.043 und ‚goodvibe1‘ triumphierte beim $215 2nd Chance Turnier für $40.246.
Insgesamt brachten es gleich 14 deutschsprachige Spieler an den Final Table, davon 4 auf das Sieger-Treppchen (2 x Erster, 1 x Zweiter, 1 x Dritter). Aber auch bekannte Spieler wie ‚TsubasaOO‘ (75th/3.619 – Sunday Warm-Up; 15th/1550 The Bigger $162), ’sebbau‘ (7th/999 – $109+R), ‚PokerNoob999‘ (32th/768 – Sunday $500), ‚jektiss‘ (52th/768 – Sunday $500), ‚kabutze‘ (60th/768 – Sunday $500; 8th/444 – $162 Nightly Forty Grand) und viele weitere schafften einen Deep-Run. Auch ‚1-ronnyr3‘, ‚heißtercamp‘ und ‚Ansgar2000‘ waren unter anderem erfolgreich.
Das Sunday Million allerdings gewann ’shamandez‘ aus Russland für $178.192. Er setzte sich gegen 7.709 Teilnehmer durch und schlug im Heads-Up ‚Mackkapackka‘ aus Australien, der nach einem Deal ebenfalls $178.079 bekam. Die beste deutschsprachige Platzierung erreichte hier ‚hoefi73‘ aus der Schweiz, der immerhin auf Rang 7 den Final Table erreichte und $30.840 mit nach Hause nahm.
