Gestern wurde der erste Starttag des Eureka Prag Main Event gespielt und 366 Teilnehmer kamen an die Tische. Für 1.100 Euro erhalten die Spieler einen Startingstack von 20.000 Chips (400 Big Blinds) und Levelzeiten von 60 Minuten. Dies war am ersten Tag Grund genug für viele deutschsprachige Spieler, der Goldenen Stadt einen Besuch abzustatten. Der Chipleader heisst Jean-Yves Mallat, aus den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Aus deutschsprachiger Sicht vorne in den Chipcounts dabei sind u. a. Udo Erlei, Thomas Martin Layher sowie Claus Danninger.
Heute startet Tag 1B und man darf davon ausgehen, dass die Teilnehmerzahl von 864 im letzten Jahr locker geknackt werden wird. Da die Verantwortlichen von PokerStars mit sehr großem Andrang heute rechnen, liegt es nahe, dass dieses Eureka Prag Main Event das größte PokerStars Turnier in Prag werden könnte.
