Während das Main Event der EPT Barcelona alle Rekorde bricht und heute in Tag 2 geht, fielen auch die Entscheidungen bei zwei Side Events. Den Barcelona Cup holte sich am Ende Luca Faggioli und beim €2.000 Turbo Side Event schnappte sich Joao Barbosa den Sieg.
Beim €330 Barcelona Cup im Rahmen der EPT waren 2.095 Spieler an den Start gegangen. Der Sieger sollte sich am Ende über ein Preisgeld von satten €101.000 freuen. Nach einem Marathon-Turnier ging das Event gestern in die Verlängerung und am Ende sicherte sich der Franzose Luca Faggioli den Sieg, nachdem er im Heads-up den Spanier Xavier Segura Campos besiegte.
Beim €2.000 No Limit Hold’em Turbo Side Event traten insgesamt 73 Spieler am gestrigen Abend an. Damit ging es um einen Preispool von €141.620. Am Ende schnappte sich Joao Barbosa den Sieg und kassierte €38.900. Martin Finger wurde am Ende Fünfter und Artur Koren scheitere am Ende auf Rang Drei.
