Am Samstag den 04. Juni 2016 gab es ab 15:00 Uhr die letzte Möglichkeit am Tag 1b in den 888Poker German Championship of Poker (GCOP) Main Event im King’s Casino Rozvadov einzusteigen. Bis zum Ende der Late-Registration legten 187 Spieler das Buy-In von €808+€80 auf den Tisch und 51 machten noch von ihrem Re-Entry Gebrauch. Damit darf man beim Main Event insgesamt 343 Entries verzeichnen und es geht um einen Preispool in Höhe von €263.287. 39 Akteure dürfen sich mindestens über den Min Cash von €1.817 freuen, doch der ganz große Zahltag wartet mit €52.789 auf den Champion.
Am Tag 1b standen wieder zehn Levels a 60 Minuten auf dem Programm. Am Ende des Tages durften noch 99 Protagonisten ihre Chips für Tag 2 eintüten. Den Chiplead konnte sich der Deutsche „Mambamenni“ mit 187.700 (156 Big Blinds) sichern. Damit geht er als zweiter in Chips hinter Overall-Chipleader David Mahoney (GER) 232.000 (193 Big Blinds) in Tag 2. Am Sonntag wird es auch ein Wiedersehen mit bekannten Spielern wie Tezer Cetindag (GER), „Advokat“ (GER), Robert Zipf (GER), „Lena“ (GER), „The Talk“ (GER), Ji Zhang (GER), Christian Stratmeyer (GER), Roman Cieslik (GER) und dem ehemaligen GCOP Champion „7andar“ (SVK) geben.
Am Sonntag gehen um 13:00 Uhr 133 Pokercracks in den Kampf um die 39 bezahlten Plätze. Es geht weiter im Level 11 bei Blinds 600/1.200 Ante 200. Der Average beträgt 77.3.68 (64,5 Big Blinds). Das Finale findet dann am Montag statt. Ab 18:00 Uhr gibt es einen Livestream vom Feature Table der von Jens Knossalla moderiert wird.
