Nach einem spannenden Tag sind noch 112 Teilnehmerinnen im Turnier, angeführt von Anetta Holley mit 117.600 Chips. Die bekannteste Spielerin im oberen Bereich des Chipcounts ist Vanessa Selbst (Foto), sie beendet Tag 1 mit 80.800 auf Rang 9. Aus deutschsprachiger Sicht gibt es keine Hoffnung mehr für ein Ladys Event Bracelet, Natalie Hof kaufte sich zwar ein, überlebte den Tag aber nicht.
Alle 112 verbliebenen Spielerinnen haben bereits $1.520 Preisgeld sicher, für den Sieg gib es neben dem Bracelet einen Scheck in Höhe von $149.108.
