Am Freitag startete bei der World Series of Poker in Las Vegas mit dem $111.111 High Roller for One Drop das teuerste Event der Serie. Gleich 119 Spieler kauften sich am Tag 1 in das Turnier ein und damit liegen schon fast $12.000.000 im Preispool. Da bis zum Ende des zweiten Levels an Tag 2 die Late-Registration geöffnet ist, müssen wir auf die endgültigen Zahlen noch etwas warten. Für die Teilnehmer ging es mit einer Startdotation von 500.000 los und am Tag 1 wurden acht Levels à 60 Minuten gespielt. Die deutschsprachigen Kartencracks waren sehr stark vertreten und erwischten auch einen sehr guten Tag. Lediglich Christoph Vogelsang (GER) und Fedor Holz (GER) blieben auf der Streckte. Sie haben aber noch die Möglichkeit von ihrem Re-Entry Gebrauch zu machen. Von den Deutschen lief es am besten bei Rainer Kempe der auf Rang 7 mit 106 Big Blinds übernachten darf. Außerdem kommen von unseren Jungs noch, Dominik Nitsche (GER), Martin Finger (GER), Koray Aldemir (GER), Dietrich Fast (GER), Tobias Ziegler (GER), Moritz Dietrich (GER), Stefan Schillhabel (GER), Manig Loeser (GER), Christian Christner (GER) und Igor Kurganov (RUS/GER) am Tag 2 wieder. Den Chiplead konnte sich der schwedische Ex-Weltmeister Martin Jacobson mit 1.677.000 (140 Big Blinds) sichern. King’s Boss Leon Tsoukernik konnte seine gute Leistung vom Super High Roller Bowl (Platz 4 für $1.800.000) bestätigen und belegt Rang 6 mit 110,5 Big Blinds.
Am Samstagabend um ca. 23:00 Uhr MEZ geht es mit Tag 2 im Level 9 bei Blinds 6.000/12.000 Ante 2.000 weiter. Der Average nach Tag 1 beträgt 753.164 (63 Big Blinds).
