Bei der King’s Local Championship wurden 258 Entries verbucht, und es ging bei einem Startgeld von €110 um die garantierten €30.000 Preisgeld.
Über €6.000 sollten an den Sieger gehen, doch da sich die letzten drei Spieler auf einen Deal einigten, erhielt der offizielle Sieger DM „nur“ €4.689.
