Als letztes Event aus Las Vegas präsentieren wir euch eine kurze Zusammenfassung des $1.500 Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better, Event#27 der diesjährigen WSOP. Es kauften sich stolze 460 Spieler ein und somit werden $621.000 Preisgeld auf die besten 69 Spieler verteilt. Der Sieger darf sich neben dem Bracelet auf einen Scheck in Höhe von $142.801 freuen.

Es kauften sich zahlreiche Mixed Game Experten in dieses Turnier ein, auf der Strecke blieben aber leider bereits Stars wie Scott Bohlman, „Miami“ John Cernuto, David Singer, Michael Gathy, Barry Greenstein, Layne Flack, Shaun Deeb, Frank Kassela, Phil Hellmuth, Benny Glaser, Ben Yu, Scott Clements, oder der Neo-Bracelet Gewinner Eli Elezra.

Als Chipleader beendete Dave Alfa mit 87.900 Chips den Tag, gefolgt von Andrew Kelsall mit 69.700 Chips. Insgesamt konnten sich 195 Spieler für den zweiten Tag qualifizieren.
