Mit 2.269 Entries war der €175 Main Event der German Poker Days im King’s Resort der erwartet große Erfolg.
Durch das mehrmals ausverkaufte Haus konnte die Garantie geknackt werden und die Finalisten am gestrigen Sonntag spielten um ein Preisgeld von über €323.000.
Die ersten 231 Plätze wurden bezahlt und hatten schon einmal €336 sicher, doch natürlich wollten alle, die die Bubble überstanden hatten, ganz hoch hinaus.
Allein für den Sieger standen incl. des WSOPE Main Event Tickets über €61.000 bereit.
Sebastian Buchheit aus Deutschland war es schließlich, der am Ende jubeln und sich den Sieg sichern konnte.
Er ließ seine Landsleute Adrian Forrester und King’s-Reg „Montana“ hinter sich und feierte den mit Abstand größten Erfolg seiner Pokerlaufbahn.
Auch Forrester und „Montana“ können zufrieden sein. Sie kassierten beide über €20.000 bzw. €30.000 und werden ebenfalls beim WSOPE Main Event dabei sein.
