1/ I’ve wrestled with the idea of getting into content creation for many years. There are two main reasons I hadn’t yet pulled the trigger:

A) Time
With a family, a couple of businesses & sometimes trying to play some poker, I have been crazy busy for as long as I can remember.
3/ … I think I experience these a little more than your average bear.

Truth is, I care what each and every one of you thinks of me a lot more than I should! I’ve been working on that, but it’s slow going.
So, what finally made me take the plunge?
5/ This also involved letting go (slightly) of perfectionism, which matters doubly here because if I’d have launched a YouTube channel 4 years ago, I’d have personally spent 25 hours on every video.

Next, despite continued success at the poker table…
7/ Then there’s the other side of the coin of caring what people think: I believe I could make some content that people really enjoy and get value out of, and that would make me feel good!

9/ So, I’ve recently spent time working on things I’ve been “meaning to do for a while,” like this channel launch and dropping 20lbs.

Coincidentally (truly, this was a happy accident that I only just realized as I began writing this), my first video covers this very topic.
11/ I’d say I spoke to a target audience of all skill levels – so for those who watch my advanced training videos, perhaps half of what I cover will be things you already know well.

The channel as a whole will continue taking shape as time goes on, mostly based on your feedback.

12/ I’ve planned & recorded content ranging from beginner & 10 minutes long to 2.5hr podcasts w/ fellow pros.

I aim to release 1 vid/week for the time being. I’d love to increase that frequency, but I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew, which I have a habit of doing!
