Es war ein sehr geschäftiger Montag bei der PokerStars European Poker Tour presented by Monte-Carlo Casino®️. Neben dem Super High Roller Event standen dabei natürlich die Entscheidung beim FPS Main Event und der Startschuss beim EPT Main Event im Fokus.
Den €1.100 FPS Main Event gewann der Lucas Scafini nach einem Deal mit dem Italiener Fabio Peluso. Der Brasilianer bekam am Ende €250.000 Prämie ausbezahlt, Peluso konnte sich als Runner-up über €217.340 freuen.
Im Finale gab es einige Cooler, sodass es auch Überraschungen gab. Jacob Amsellem, der als Chipleader gestartet war, brachte seinen Stack mit einem gefloppten Set Tens gegen Pocketaces von Peluso in die Mitte, ein Ace am River wendete das Blatt, sodass der Israeli Fünfter wurde.
Auch die letzte Hand des Abends war ein Cooler, denn Scafini callte das All-in mit Pocketkings und behielt gegen Pocketjacks die Oberhand.

Die ersten 121 Pokerspieler haben sich für den 2. Spieltag am Mittwoch qualifiziert, darunter auch 18 teilweise sehr bekannte deutschsprachige Pros. Sehr gut lief es insbesondere bei Oliver Bosch und Josip Simunic. Dabei bleiben auch Christian Rudolph, Koray Aldemir, Titelverteidiger Manig Loeser oder Ole Schemion.
