Im Hilton Prag / King’s Casino Prague ist am Montag der Startschuss zum mit Spannung erwarteten €5.300 Main Event der PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) gefallen und der Auftakt war vielversprechend.
Mit 402 Entries liegt sogar die Rekordmarke von 1.192 aus dem Jahr 2016 in Reichweite, die im März dieses Jahres nur um zwei Entries verfehlt wurde.
Nach zehn Levels zu je 60 Minuten sicherte sich der Spanier Gomez Zapatero mit 341.000 Chips die Führung vor Landsmann Ramon Colillas (312.000) vom Team PokerStars und Super High Roller Sam Greenwood (293.000) aus Kanada. Aus deutscher Sicht überzeugte insbesondere Justin Steinbrenner, der mit 220.000 Chips zunächst einmal Platz sechs belegt.
