Bei der PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris wurden gestern neben dem €5.300 Main Event auch einige Side Events ausgetragen.
Besonders gespannt war man natürlich auf Tag 2 des 3k Mystery Bounty, für das sich viele internationale Topstars angemeldet hatten.
Zu den 725 Spielern, die sich an Tag 1 eingekauft hatten, kamen noch 62 Cracks wie Fedor Holz, die von der Late Registration Gebrauch machten.
Mit insgesamt 787 Startern geht es um ein Gesamtpreisgeld von gut €1,328 Millionen, dazu kommen Bounty-Prämien von €787.000.
Auf Platz 28 ausgeschieden, aber dennoch hochzufrieden war der Rumäne Danut Chisu. Er erhielt zwar „nur“ €6.250 Preisgeld, hatte sich davor aber Bounties im Gesamtwert von €96.000, darunter das größte Kopfgeld von €75.000, unter den Nagel gerissen.
Im Finale der letzten 22 Spieler dabei sind neben einigen bekannten Namen wie Jonathan Proudfoot, Lex Veldhuis oder Aleksandar Tomovic auch noch die beiden DACH-Spieler Pascal Heinrichs und Fabian Niederreiter, die durchaus aussichtsreich platziert sind.
In Führung liegt der Däne Martin Stausholm, wenn es heute in die Entscheidung geht.

Jan-Eric Schwippert kam dem Sieg sehr nahe, am Ende musste er sich aber mit Platz 2 hinter dem Ungarn Levente Szabo und €59.100 begnügen.

25 der üblichen Verdächtigen meldeten sich an, mit sechs Re-Entry kam man letztlich auf 31 Turnierstarts und ein Preisgeld von rund €730.000.
Nach seinem zweiten Platz am Vortag war Stephen Chidwick am Donnerstag nicht aufzuhalten und krönte seine starke Form mit dem Sieg vor Sam Greenwood.
Als Belohnung gab es €277.020 Preisgeld.
