Einen wahren Marathon legten die Finalisten beim €174+25 Main Event der German Poker Days im King’s Resort Rozvadov hin, denn der Sieger wurde erst am Montagvormittag gefunden.
Bevor das große Finale beginnen konnte, stand am gestrigen Sonntag aber noch der letzte Starttag an.
Noch einmal 294 Entrys (252+42) stiegen ins Turnier ein und erhöhten die Gesamtbeteiligung auf 2.115 Turnierstarts.
Nach Abzug der Steuern ging es damit am Nachmittag um genau €349.609, die auf die Top 212 verteilt wurden.
Die Finalisten waren alle schon im Preisgeld, doch wurde natürlich trotzdem erbittert um jeden Chip gekämpft.
In den Morgenstunden platzte dann auch die Ticket Bubble des WSOPE Main Event, die ersten vier Spieler dürfen sich schon jetzt auf ihre Teilnahme freuen.
Den Sieg machten im Heads-Up schließlich der Argentinier „Nano“ und Marcus Voll aus Deutschland aus.
Obwohl der Südamerikaner lange vorne lag, konnte Voll mit dem nötigen Quäntchen Glück den Spieß umdrehen und sich den Sieg sichern.
Als Belohnung erhielt der strahlende Sieger €53.100 Preisgeld plus das WSOPE-Ticket im Wert von €10.350.
