WSOP Event 90, $10.000 6-handed No-Limit Hold’em Championship
Mit 30 der ursprünglich 550 Starter ging es bei der 6-handed-WM in den vermeintlichen Schlusstag.
Der nach Tag 1 führende Tobias Schwecht war als Shortstack mit dabei und landete am Ende auf Platz 18, was ihm $41.748 einbrachte.
Auch Phil Hellmuth musste seine Bracelet-Chancen begraben, er landete auf Platz 9 und nahm gut $86.000 mit.
Bei vier verbliebenen Spielern wurde das Turnier abgebrochen. Mit dem Franzosen Alexandre Reard gibt es einen klaren Chipleader, doch den Zweitplatzierten Stephen Chidwick sollte man nie abschreiben.
Als Siegprämie winken über $1,057 Millionen, alle vier Finalisten haben gut $306.000 sicher.

195 Cracks traten zum letzten Pferderennen der WSOP 2023 an, darunter auch Sebastian Pauli und der Koray Aldemir, die auf den Plätzen 116 bzw. 126 übernachtet hatten.
Für beide reichte es nicht zu einem der 50 bezahlten Plätze und sie gingen leer aus.
18 Spieler durften am Ende des Tages Chips eintüten, darunter einige Pokerlegenden wie Todd Brunson oder Barbara Enright.
Auch Chad Eveslage ist als Siebter noch dabei und wird sicher versuchen, das dritte Bracelet abzustauben.
Den Sieger erwarten gut $208.000 Preisgeld, sicher sind $7.305 für alle Finalisten.
