Wir sind am Final Table des $5.300 Main Events des PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Cyprus Festivals im Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino auf Nordzypern angekommen – sieben Spieler kämpfen noch um den Titel des Champion.
Mit 16 Spielern war das Turnier in Tag 5 gegangen und mit Yannick Schumacher ging aus hinterer Position eine letzte DACH-Hoffnung ins Rennen, die den Sprung an den Final Table machen konnte.
Auf dem Weg dahin mussten einige bekannte Namen ihren Traum vom EPT-Titel an den Nagel hängen.
Unter anderem ging es Altstar Kenny Hallaert an den Kragen. Er brachte seine Chips mit Ass-Jack unter und musste nur gegen Ass-Vier durchhalten. Doch der Flop entschied sich für Jose Gonzalez und eine Vier auf dem Flop. Für Hallaert war damit auf Platz 10 für $74.200 Schluss
Die verbleibenden sieben Spieler werden von Gilles Simon aus den Niederlanden angeführt, der mit 8,07 Mio. Chips in die Entscheidung geht. Er wird dicht gefolgt von Halil Tasyurek aus der Türkei mit 7,82 Mio. Chips und Nikita Kuznetcov aus Russland mit 7,47 Mio. Chips.
Auch Yannick Schumacher ist mit 6,05 Mio. Chips nicht weit vom Chipleader weg. Nur Tag4-Chipleader Andrea Dato und Bjorn Kozenkai sitzen mit jeweils knapp 15 BB vom Feld relativ weit abgeschlagen auf den hinteren Plätzen.
Die Entscheidung beginnt heute um 12:30 Uhr Ortszeit bei Blinds 100.000/200.000/200.000 (BB Ante). Alle Spieler haben $162.925 sicher.
