Bei Event #41: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold’em & Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot (8-Handed) der World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2024 in den Paris und Horseshoe Casinos in Las Vegas wurde in der Nacht auf Dienstag nach hartem Kampf der Sieger gefunden.

Sechzehn Spieler hatten noch die Chance auf das Bracelet – leider ohne deutschsprachige Beteiligung, nachdem Fabian Rolli und Klemens Roiter am Vortag ausgeschieden waren.

Xixiang Luo und Daniel Hachem kamen als Führende in den Finaltag und sie waren es auch, die das Bracelet unter sich ausmachten.

Stundenlang ging es zwischen den beiden hin und her, doch so recht konnte sich lange keiner absetzen.

Fast schien es, als wollte keiner etwas riskieren, bis Luo das Momentum bekam und nicht mehr locker ließ.

Am Ende musste sich Daniel Hachem dem Chinesen geschlagen geben – damit gelang es ihm nicht ganz, in die großen Fußstapfen seines Vaters zu treten.

Der Chinese Xixiang Luo aber zeigte, dass China auch im Poker immer stärker wird, und nahm neben dem Bracelet ein Preisgeld von $270.820 mit.

Bericht zu Tag 2

167 Spieler kehrten an die Tische zurück, darunter auch mit Klemens Roiter, Mr. McSwinney und Fabian Rolli drei deutschsprachige Spieler.

Leider schaffte es keiner der drei, sich für das Finale zu qualifizieren. Als Bester aus dem Quartett belegte Rolli Platz 46 und nahm $6.314 mit.

Fabian Rolli (SUI)

Im Feld sind noch einige Bracelet-Gewinner wie William Kopp, Gabriel Schroeder oder Dario Alioto, die sich aber allesamt strecken müssen.

In Führung liegt der Chinese Xixiang Luo, doch direkt hinter ihm folgt ein Spieler mit einem berühmten Namen.

Daniel Hachem will es seinem Vater gleich tun und das Bracelet nach Australien holen.

Das Event #41: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold’em & Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot ist brandneu und hat es so noch nicht bei der WSOP gegeben. Dabei werden mit den Bomb Pots Elemente aus Cash Games in das Turnier-Format integriert. Alle Spieler setzen einen Pflichteinsatz und gehen dann direkt zum Flop. Das geschieht aber immer nur in der ersten Hand nach dem Varianten-Wechsel – also alle acht Hände. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein 3-Tages-Event.

Das Turnier zog 1.312 Entries an und darunter waren einige interessante Namen und DACH-Spieler. Wir zählen hier ein paar Namen auf, die es weiter in den Tag 2 geschafft haben: Shaun Deeb, Benny Glaser, Patrick Leonard, Dario Sammartino, Fabian Rolli (CH), Klemens Roiter (AT), Mr Mcswiney (GER).

Die 167 verbleibenden Spieler haben bereits $3.011 sicher und werden die nächsten zwei Tage um den Top-Preis von $270.820 kämpfen. Morgen geht es erstmal um 12:00 Uhr weiter und es wird runtergespielt auf fünf Spieler.
