Die Entscheidung im $25.000 Super Main Event bei der World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise im Atlantis Bahamas Resort & Casino rückt näher. In dem Event mit 1.978 Starter*innen wurden an Tag 3 aus den verbleibenden 297 nur noch 36 gemacht. Dabei sollte auch das gesicherte Payout von $50.000 auf $140.900 steigen. Ein Auge haben natürlich alle noch im Super Main Event befindlichen Spieler*innen auf die Siegprämie geworfen, die ganze $6 Millionen aus dem $50 Millionen Preispool betragen wird. Berechtigte Hoffnungen können sich auch noch 7 deutschsprachige Spieler darauf machen.
WSOPP Event #9: $26.000 Super Main Event
Von ursprünglich 1.978 Starter*innen waren am Dienstag nach dem Platzen der Bubble noch 297 an die Tische im Atlantis auf Paradise Island zurückgekehrt. Das waren 207 Überlebende vom Vortag, sowie 90 Online-Qualifikanten. Zuerst konnten sich die Teilnehmer*innen an Tag 1 über ein Overlay von $550.000 freuen, dann an Tag 2 über das erreichen der ITM-Ränge samt Mincahs von $50.000 und am gestrigen Tag 3 über den Deep Run, falls man nach 26 gespielten Leveln noch Chips eintüten konnte.
Das gelang den meisten Spieler*innen nicht. Zu den prominenten Opfern gehörten z.B. Matthias Eibinger schloss den dritten Tag als 13. (32 BB) ab, WSOP-Bracelet Gewinner Roland Rokita liegt im Zwischenklasssement auf Rang 21 (21 BB). Georg Lehmann (12 BB), Christoph Vogelsang (11 BB) und Rainer Kempe (9 BB) komplettieren als 31., 34. und 35. das D-A-CH-Septett.
